New England Territory Sales Representative


This position is to provide sales representation for the Pflaum Publishing Group (division of Bayard, Inc) within the dioceses of New England and to grow sales of all products by providing an expanding presence to the Catholic Religious Education Market.

Basic Functions

To increase revenue for the Pflaum / Bayard Publishing Group within the territory

  • Actively pursue parish and school sales in the territory.
  • Develop territory plans and strategies and participate in the creation and execution of regional plans for an increase in sales for _The Pflaum Gospel Weeklies_—the principal product for Pflaum. To also develop plans for the Sacramental Preparation product and other products_._
  • Develop and maintain the sales budget for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain good relations with the key diocesan personnel within the territory.
  • Coordinate events to develop new business and solidify existing business.
  • Attend catechist/teacher meetings that occur within the territory, and regional or national meetings as requested.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to sales within territory and the servicing of the territory.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the inside sales representative who services the dioceses within the territory.
  • Hours: Full time

QUALIFICATIONS SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Proficient in English (both verbal and written communication), and ability to make group presentations is necessary.

This position requires the Sales Representative lives within the territory assigned and work out of their home. Current driver's license required.

$45, $50,000.00 per year


Pay:

Outside Sales: 3 years (preferred)
