    Description

    This position is located at our administration building in NE Portland. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule is hybrid, working at least two days in the office per week.

    Job Overview


    The FQHC Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the Federally Qualified Health Center's (FQHC) fiscal health and sustainability.

    Utilizing a strong financial background, this position will contribute to the success of a community-focused healthcare organization. This position must understand, appreciate, and respect the diversity and cultural differences within our Cascadia community.

    As such, it is expected that this position promotes integrated care, our vision of trauma-informed and person-first approaches and helps create a work environment of inclusion, safety, and acceptance.

    Essential Duties

    Conduct in-depth financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making processes.

    Monitor and assess financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to key stakeholders.

    Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.

    Monitor budget-to-actual performance, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions as needed.

    Manage the financial aspects of grants, including budget development, expenditure tracking, and compliance reporting.

    Qualifications


    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.

    Experience:

    3 years in financial analysis, preferably in a healthcare or FQHC setting.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis.

    Knowledge of FQHC funding mechanisms, including Medicaid, Medicare, and other federal and state programs.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
