Job Summary:

HCA Forward Pathology Solutions is currently seeking a full-time AP/CP Pathology Medical Director to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Florida.

AP/CP certification or board eligibility
At least three (3) years of hospitalbased experience is preferred
Active Florida Medical License and/or FCVS is a plus
Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP
Surgical volumes approximately 3,500 per year
Cytology 600 per year
Procedures (frozen sections and rapid on site assessments) less than 7 per week
Peripheral smears approximately 4 per day
Blood bank reviews less than 1 per week
Other Pertinent Information: Bayonet Point has approximately 290 beds with a Level II trauma center and a variety of anatomic pathology specimens including GI, head/neck, GU and thoracic.
