Responsibilities

Mechatronics engineers work at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, and computer science.

Mathematical and scientific foundations, mechanical engineering, computer science, and mechatronic systems are examples of in-depth expertise that will be taught to you at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.

The General Mechatronics program combines content from mechanical engineering, electrical and information technology, and business administration, creating a solid foundation for complex, interdisciplinary connections. These foundations are complemented by specific content, such as actuation, robotics, or simulations.

During the practical phases, you will gain experience in areas such as production planning, testing, development, and finding technological solutions for the usability of fuel cells and hybrid drives.

Qualifications

General or specialized university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification with good to very good grades, especially in mathematics and physics
Strong interest in technical topics and business connections
Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
