The ENI-G, a joint initiative of the University Medical Center Göttingen and the Max Planck Society, is seeking a Research Coordinator (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible:

The ENI-G is dedicated to researching the fundamentals of the nervous system. The goal is to deepen the understanding of the structure and functioning of the brain during health and disease.

This is expected to lead to progress in the treatment of neural, neurodegenerative, and psychiatric diseases in the long term.

Your tasks

  • Support of independent group leaders, particularly in laboratory setup and acquisition of thirdparty funding
  • Interface between the board and group leaders, as well as the participating Max Planck Institutes and the University Medical Center
  • Assistance with scientific and technical questions regarding thirdparty funding applications
  • Coordination and planning of building adaptations and laboratory equipment for new recruitments and thirdparty funded projects
  • Monitoring of the general ENI facilities and equipment, with a focus on microscopy
  • Assistance with organizing events and maintaining the external image of EN
