    Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Join our Team as a Technology Program Manager at City of Bothell! The Employee and Technology Services Department is seeking an experienced IT program and project manager with a background in cyber security to take on the role of Technology Program Manager. In this position, you'll play a key role in driving technological innovation and supporting critical projects that propel our organization forward.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the City's cyber security initiatives alongside IT staff.
    • Manage the IT project portfolio and annual work plan.
    • Guide the technology governance process to ensure City of Bothell achieves its technology objectives.
    • Lead the implementation of a Technology and GIS strategic plan.
    • Develop, implement, and educate City employees on IT policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Collaborate effectively and communicate concerns promptly within the team.
    • Provide transparent reasoning behind decisions.
    • Adapt to changes efficiently and adjust priorities to meet new goals.
    • Apply critical and creative thinking skills to solve complex problems.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and simplicity in processes.
    • Possess experience in managing IT programs and projects.
    • Work closely with IT Managers and the Department Director to motivate staff and facilitate decision-making.
