Description

Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company headquartered in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

Conducting environmental (temperature, humidity, vibration), EMI, electrical, and functional tests
Creating test plans and procedures
Coordinating and conducting internal and external tests (engineering and qualification tests) and documenting test results
Coordinating with test houses, conducting acceptance tests (test witnessing), and reviewing test reports

Your profile:

Completed degree in engineering (electrical engineering, precision engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering) or a comparable qualification (technician, master)
Knowledge of using an oscilloscope (error analysis, signal and frequency analysis), multimeter, data logger, and climate chambers
Strong communication skills and assertiveness
Knowledge of SAP, VBA, or the DOORS database would be desirable
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
