    Civil Estimator Position

    Qualifications:
    • A strong candidate will possess a strong work ethic with an emphasis on the ability to work as a team to accurately create bid sheets that meets all bid requirements and deadlines
    • The Ideal candidate will be willing and able to relocate or commute to our location, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator / Project Engineer
    • Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or comparable
    • Proficient in blueprint / spec books and takeoffs
    • Organization skills
    • Communication skills with a focus on collaboration with the inner office, field teams and clients
    • Detail to scheduling and time management and processing work orders.
    • Exceptional quantitative skills are a must
    • Dependability
    • Montana: Relocate before starting work (Required) | Responsibilities
    • Obtain all documents, plans, drawings and specs to bid a project
    • Meet with clients and visit sites to gain a broad understanding of the project
      •Consider manpower, materials, and equipment necessary to achieve successful bids
    • Access risk assessment for potential deviation to the plan, specifically manpower and equipment availability
      •Negotiate with suppliers and sub-tiers to create the most competitive and accurate bids
