Description

The County of Riverside's Human Resources Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) seeks to fill a temporary Development Specialist I position to support the Riverside County Housing and Workforce Solutions Department.

The incumbent will be tasked with performing advanced paraprofessional and entry-level professional duties, which involve basic technical and analytic work in economic development, housing and community development, or employment and training programs, and perform other related duties as required.

Responsibilities will include greeting customers as they enter our Career Center, providing information on Workforce programs and partner programs, assisting customers on workforce public computers, interviewing customers for WIOA eligibility, case managing enrolled customers, and utilizing the Caljobs system for case management and tracking purposes.

Meet the Team:

The County Workforce Development Board (WDB) **provides oversight for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs in the county. The WDB acts as a catalyst to provide seamless services among various workforce programs and provides community leadership around workforce issues.
