Job Summary:

This is a student employee position for the Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment, located in Felmley Hall. Undergraduate Research Assistants are hired by faculty to assist in carrying out a particular research agenda.
As an undergraduate research assistant, your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Research and collect material or data, library research, lab work, field work, or other project specific methodology.
Selfmotivation to complete tasks and make significant progress without direct supervision.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
The ability to learn new software and research techniques.
The ability to commit to complex projects.
Reports on status of research activities to supervising faculty.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Performs other related duties as required.

Pay Rate:

$14.00/hour

Preferred Qualifications:

Completed course work in the department.

Work Hours:

Work hours will be determined by the faculty member.
