Per Diem Spanish Translator—Outreach
- WRSD is seeking a per diem Spanish translator to provide translation services, both verbally and in print, to afford both the school and parents who communicate in Spanish opportunities to communicate by telephone, in writing, and in person. This position will primarily support Early Intervention for home visits and events.
Primary Duties
- Inperson Spanish translation at consumers' homes during gEarly Intervention visits
- Attend and translate all meetings for Spanish consumers.
Requirements:
- Appropriate certificate in interpreting/translation required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of educational processes and nomenclature.
- Fluency in spoken Spanish and English.
- Ability to translate Spanish to English and English to Spanish verbally and in print.
- Knowledge of computerbased word processing systems.
