*Job Description: Cargo Van Fleet Driver*
Hungry Heart Freight LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Cargo Van Fleet Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to pick up assigned loads and deliver them to their destinations promptly and safely. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding our company's reputation for reliability and professionalism.
**Responsibilities:**
Safely operate company cargo vans to pick up and deliver assigned loads in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the cargo van.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cargo van at all times.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Previous experience as a cargo van or delivery driver preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
