- Reviews purchase orders, invoices, and receiving paperwork for accuracy.
- Prepares accounts payable checks.
- Confers with other departments to resolve account discrepancies.
- Research and answer vendor inquiries.
- Provides reports and analysis of vendor payments as requested
- Uses electronic financial system to process payments
- Sorts and classifies requisitions and vouchers, codes vouchers.
- Posts to ledger accounts from expense and appropriation records.
- Reconciles vendors' monthly statements.
- Writes receipts for incoming cash.
- Operates simple office machines.
- Maintains running balance of unencumbered and cash funds.
- Prepares checks, as required.
- Takes trial balances and makes other financial reports.
- Performs a variety of related clerical account-keeping duties and other clerical tasks such as filing.
- Operates a data entry terminal, as required.
Pay:
$50, $61,330.00 per year
