Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious cocktails for our guests.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires excellent time management, sales skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.

As a bartender at the POA, you'll have the opportunity to work in a 501(c)(7) members bar and club that is gaining a following each year.

We're dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests and creating a positive work environment for our team members.


Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Open and close the bar responsibly
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

Skills:

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple drink orders simultaneously
• Knowledge of various cocktail recipes and mixology techniques
• Familiarity with cash registers for accurate payment processing
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
• Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
• Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred
