With your dual studies to become a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Sc.) in Automation Technology at East Rockingham, you will acquire specific expertise in the intelligent interaction of components in highly complex systems, while gaining practical experience at the same time.

In this program, you will learn how to develop, monitor, and control processes of automation and monitoring systems. You will gain fundamental knowledge in electrical engineering and specific knowledge in automation.

Core elements of the program include automation systems, computer technology in automation, control systems, and the design of digital systems.


The program lasts a total of 6 semesters and is carried out in cooperation with a renowned university near you.

The prerequisite for the program is a technical college entrance qualification or high school diploma.


During the intensive practical phases at Biotest, you will be able to apply your theoretical knowledge directly in the daily business of various departments, as well as in exciting projects.

The student salary is currently 1081 in the first year of study and increases to by the 4th year of study.

In addition, there is an annual performance bonus, a future amount, and holiday pay. We also cover all study and examination fees. Furthermore, we provide you with a Hessen ticket for transportation.
