    Job Description:


    In this role, you will work as an Accounting for Income Tax Manager (Lead Tax Analyst) within our Award Winning Client's Corporate Tax team.

    You will play a crucial role in supporting corporate tax operations and executing accounting for income taxes.

    As a Lead Tax Analyst, you will utilize your expertise to advise management on various aspects of corporate income taxation, develop and implement accounting for income tax strategies, and serve as a valuable tax advisor to our client's business lines.


    Responsibilities:
    Understand compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area.
    Apply extensive specialized knowledge, serving as an internal consultant or final authority in accounting for income taxes.

    Provide technical income tax consultation regarding complex financial transactions across the enterprise, making recommendations related to income tax and accounting for income tax consequences.

    Lead the implementation of the most complex projects or initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
    Direct and review the work of less experienced staff.

    Perform activities requiring subject matter expertise in all aspects of income tax accounting or corporate income taxes, and the Company's internal controls policies and ongoing compliance.


    Required Qualifications (US):

    5+ years of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


    Desired Qualifications:
    Certified Public Accountant.
    5+ years of public company income tax provision experience in Public Accounting and/or SEC registrant.
    Longview Tax Provision or similar tax provision software experience.
    Significant experience in researching complex income tax accounting issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Experience in managing or leading the work of lower-level staff.
