Bonney Forge Corporation, the leading manufacturer and supplier of integrally reinforced branch connection fittings to the power, oil and gas, chemical, and other industries, is looking for a Forge Plant Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

Handson knowledge of forging processes and techniques
Ability to plan and prioritize daily activities to meet customer demand.
Assure that forging equipment and fixtures are adequately maintained to guarantee the safety of people and quality of the product.
Oversees the efficiency and productivity of Forge areas to drive waste reduction.
Evaluate dies periodically to determine repair or replacement needs.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Effectively communicate with other department leaders within the organization.
Train and develop personnel.
Assure personnel have all required PPE and tools to work with.

Basic Requirements:

2year min supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility
5year min. experience on forging processes, setup and run forge presses required
Experience on Forging using different metals alloys properties.
Experience on different forging operations and their setting up mechanisms.
Open and close die forging experience required.
Familiar with forging defects and how they can be prevented.
Familiar with MRP system and MS Office.
Supervisory experience in a union environment is a plus.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor preferred.
