Restaurant Servers are the face of our business and demonstrate highly effective customer relations in providing an excellent, memorable and enjoyable dining experience for all restaurant guests.

Key responsibilities include setting places at dining tables, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and answering inquiries about menu items as well as maximizing sales by suggestively selling other items on the menu.

Restaurant Servers are highly knowledgeable of all Company safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and protocols, skilled at using Point of Sale information (POSi) and other restaurant systems, and flexible in responding to operational needs with a "can-do" approach.

• Performs all bartending, cash/creditcard handling, garnish, setup, ordering, stocking and inventory, cleaning and sanitation work activities in accordance with bartending procedures, steps of service manual, IDPRP manual, and management directives.
• Observe guests and ensure full guest satisfaction by serving all alcohol and mixed drinks in a friendly and timely manner.
• Monitors guest behavior according to alcohol awareness procedures in order to prevent intoxication and follows all protocols in handling intoxicated guests.
• Maintains adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies according to established requirements.
• Processes transactions using POSi according to established procedures and training requirements.
• As requested by management, performs other work activities to support the safe and efficient operation of the restaurant

• High School Diploma/GED required

• 2 years of experience performing restaurant server duties

• Wears approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or nonslip shoes at all times while working
• Complies with all safety and sanitation, food service, beverage and alcohol, code of conduct, work rules and management instructions, deadlines, policies and procedures
• Complies with all hygiene and personal grooming requirements
• Arrives to work on time in designated restaurant uniform
• Fosters a workplace culture of hospitality, respect, safe and sanitation
• Participates in all required trainings and completes all required examinations
• Team player and cando mindset in supporting all business operational needs

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively engage others verbally
• Ability to listen and speak in basic English in order to maintain effective communications in the performance of essential job functions
• Ability to read and comprehend data sources, written work instructions, policies, procedures and other work materials in English in order to perform essential duties in accordance with safety, sanitation and operational standards and trainings

• Frequent lifting, moving and carrying of food trays, dinnerware and drinks, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
• Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant to service tables, deliver food and beverages, clean, sanitize and set up workstations, remove garbage, etc.
• Regular ascending/descending stairs across the restaurant to deliver food, pick up dirty dishware, etc.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
• Constant bending, stooping and turning to serve food and beverages, remove dirty plate/glassware, dispose of garbage, etc.
