Description

Currently staffing for a permanent Live-in case in Princeton. Case requires driving the client in your car and care for 1 small older cat. Give the office a call and ask for Brian or Malissa if you are interested

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the home setting
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medication as prescribed by the healthcare team
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nurse or healthcare provider
Assist with mobility and transfers
Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing the patient's living space
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

Experience:

Previous experience in caregiving or home health aide role preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
Knowledge of memory care techniques for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
Experience with tube feeding, catheter care, and other specialized care procedures
Understanding of hospice care principles and practices

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and medication administration
Ability to follow instructions and work independently while adhering to established care plans and protocols
Proficient in using electronic medical record systems or other healthcare documentation systems
