Material Handler
- 1st Shift: Monday Friday, 6:00 am 2:30 pm
- Starting Pay: Up to $21/hr. Depending on Experience

Job Summary
Looking for a skilled Material Handler with great work history As a Material Handler, you will work from dispatch lists, schedules, and inventory control cards to maintain a steady flow of material.
You will perform shop floor and inventory control transactions. You will be responsible for inventory control.-
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supply and removal of skids to proper staging areas and the removal of scrap and empty containers
- Stocks material, verifies count and part number on move ticket against pink copy of move ticket on material, reskids material as required, checks/fills shortages and stocks material in location provided or in new location
- Pulls material for miscellaneous requirements and deliver to requestor
- Pulls segregated material as needed and performs inventory functions as conditions may require
- Assist in material positioning for organized work flow, and general cleanliness of open areas not manned by specific operators
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area. They are to work in a safe manner, and accurately maintain production records
- Responsible for effective written and verbal communications as well as maintaining a constructive demeanor with all coworkers
- May be responsible in aftermarket activities to pick parts for aftermarket sales and packaging.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and/or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally with hoist to be used on objects over 40 pounds.
- Standing: Standing is required in periods of up to three hours at a time.
- Stooping: Would be required to lift objects off pallets.
- Hand Dexterity: Must be able to work with hand tools, screws and gauges, as well as operating buttons on controls.
- Carrying: Capable of carrying 40 pounds for a distance of up to 25 feet.
Key Competencies/Skills
- Previous Material Handling experience (forklift/cherry/reach lift experience preferred)
- Be a Team Player
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Use of RF Scanner/computer
- Verbal Communication: Must be capable of clear communication between coworkers and supervisor.
