Job Summary
Full time Pharmacy Tech
Schedule is Wednesday - Tuesday (7on/7off)

Hours will be 8:30pm - 7am (10-hr shifts)


Position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical care by performing technical and clerical duties associated with the operation of the Pharmacy, including the preparation of I.V.

mixtures. This position is also recognized as a leader among the technical staff.

Personnel in this position must have complete knowledge of the pharmacy operations, and be proficient in the unit dose area, I.V.

room, and/or PYXIS system.

These technicians are also instrumental in training new personnel, coordinating department performance improvement activities or recognized leaders in more than one facet of pharmacy operations.

Other duties ass assigned.
