    Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer

    Location: Nationwide

    Position Type: Permanent – Full Time

    Reports To: VP of Operations

    About Us: Clear Connection is a Technology company that has been in business for 30 years. We consult, sell, install and maintain, Security (Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion) Telecom Systems, Computer\Server\ Network \ Wireless Systems, Carrier Services, Cabling (Cat6, 5e, Coax, Cat 3, Fiber), with customer's all around the world.

    Position Overview

    Clear Connection is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer supporting our Pre & Post-Sales support to our sales & technical teams reporting to our Beltsville, Maryland Office. In this position, the successful candidate will meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their current technical environment and key business drivers.

    This full time a full-time position

    Responsibilities:

    Senior Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

    Required Skills and Education/ Working Knowledge of:

    Physical Electronic Security, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Panic & Intrusion Solutions.

    Low Voltage Structured Cabling Solutions (CAT6, Fiber, Security) and data center Infrastructure. BICSI. Majority of engineering in the Physical Electronic Security area.

    Certified RCDD is a plus.

    Networking skills including protocol and compliance knowledge a plus (CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CCIE)

    Network Security knowledge a plus (CCSP, CISSP)

    Voice/Unified Communications/contact center/VoIP solutions

    Strong Data Center, Cloud, Hosted, Virtual technologies background

    Familiarity with Mobility applications, Conferencing and Video

    Strong knowledge of VoIP standards, protocols and solution design

    Carrier Services & Transport – Voice, Data, Internet & Private Line.

    IT Systems & Support Services

    Required Knowledge and Experience

    Desired candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a team player, self-starter with excellent customer service focus.

    Excellent presentation and consultative skills required.

    Degree or Diploma in Engineering / Computer Science, Engineering Technology or relevant industry Experience.

    Valid Driver's License

    Additional Skills (a plus but not required)

    Primary region will be Maryland, Washington DC & Northern Virginia marketplace. Candidate must also be willing to travel within our services region.
