    Infrastructure Engineer
    Work as part of a dynamic team building greenfield infrastructure for one of the world's largest global companies. Design pre-integrated, multi rack solutions for custom network, compute, and storage solutions. Design and implement large scale physical networks and guide customers through the process of deploying AHEAD recommended switches. Position requires the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Must enjoy troubleshooting varied technologies and proactively utilize vendor and internet documentation to resolve issues.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Strong background and understanding of enterprise data center structured cabling design.

    Solid foundation in nearly all possible data center hardware deployments including Storage (primarily Dell, some Pure, Netapp), FC Switching (Cisco MDS), Network Switching (Cisco Nexus, NXOS, ACI), Cisco UCS, Traditional Rack-Mount Servers (Dell), Hyperconverged solutions (Both VxRail and Hyperflex).

    Experience with Cisco Commerce Workspace is a plus.
    Detailed knowledge of Excel and pivot tables required.

    Solid understanding of data center power and ability to properly design a balanced utilization of power for devices across multiple phases and circuit breakers.

    Proactively research and implement new technologies on a regular basis.
    Even temperament dealing with challenging customer requirements is a must.
    Strong troubleshooting abilities.
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    Handling challenging customer interactions in stride is a must.
    Extreme attention to detail.
    Documentation accuracy is critical.
    Ability to multitask.
    25-50% travel required.
    Qualifications

    Strong background and understanding of enterprise data center structured cabling design
    Extreme attention to detail
    Ability to heavily multi-task is crucial
    A keen eye for deploying infrastructure in the most redundant and resilient method physically possible
    An above average understanding of data center power and ability to properly design a balanced utilization of power for devices across multiple phases and circuit breakers
    The ability to communicate tactfully and accurately
