- Develop data pipelines and engineering infrastructure for model management systems
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to explore new data sources and design model features
- Apply software engineering best practices to statistical and mathematical models
- Support model lifecycle development with a focus on auditability and data security
- Participate in designing, developing, and deploying production-quality code for software applications
- Facilitate the development and deployment of machine learning solutions
- Create reusable libraries to expedite client solution delivery
- Champion modern software development practices to technical and business audiences
- Lead full software development life cycle including architecture design, testing, and issue resolution
- Design standardized application frameworks for various applications
- Contribute to ideation processes for innovative problem-solving solutions
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Sciences, or Econometrics
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Python development experience with a focus on Microsoft Azure services
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with building data lakes and working with unstructured data sources
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle
- Previous experience in financial services and cloud native industries
- Proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, and related technologies
- Experience with data workflow orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Apache Airflow
- Strong software engineering skills with expertise in Python
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and front-end technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
