Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team.
As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our clients and guests.
Must have knowledge of:
- Basecamp
- Google Drive
- Canvas
- Office Package: excel & word
Duties:
- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with client preferences
- Coordinate all logístical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering arrangements, and audiovisual setup
- Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure costeffectiveness
- Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are in place and meet client expectations
- Provide onsite event coordination and troubleshooting during events
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop event marketing strategies and promotional materials
- Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Event Planner or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry practices and guest services
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with hotel and restaurant operations is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
- Experience in fundraising or event marketing is desirable
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
