    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The role of the Vascular Clinical Specialist is crucial as it involves offering precise technical support for vascular products and procedures to a diverse clinical audience including physicians, nurses, and technicians. This position plays a key role in supporting sales representatives during critical cases, particularly those involving physicians who need technical assistance in using the company's products safely and effectively.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide clinical and technical support, along with education, to customers in various vascular disease therapies. This includes product categories like peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, embolization, carotid, and fistula maintenance
    • Educate customers on clinical results and the effectiveness of the company's full vascular product portfolio
    • Make regular calls to hospitals or clinics to support vascular sales, service, and education goals while demonstrating high energy, deep product knowledge, and confidence to enhance patient outcomes
    • Promote the company's products and services through individual training sessions, educational programs, and conference support
    • Collaborate with Clinical Service Manager, District Sales Manager, and sales reps to provide technical support during cases with physicians and staff
    • Support the district sales strategy by working closely with sales representatives and managers to achieve business plans, which may involve inventory management and technical case support
    • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to offer technical case support, even at short notice based on customer needs
    • Assist in various business activities such as training, PO collection, and inventory management
    • Conduct inventory cycle counts at customer accounts and help resolve inventory discrepancies
    • Lead efforts to obtain signed Consignment Agreements (CA) and Inventory Schedules (IS) in assigned accounts
    • Optimize inventory investments across the district, including repositioning underperforming inventory to high-growth accounts
    • Recommend and monitor inventory levels aligned with customer needs and pricing strategies, and coordinate product launch activities
    • Support the Area and District sales strategy to achieve business objectives
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders to drive business growth and therapy adoption
    • Pursue leads, assess customer needs, and provide services to maximize benefits from the company's products and services
    • Gather customer feedback on products and communicate insights to the sales team
    • Collaborate with the sales team and field technicians on inventory management initiatives

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Degree and 6+ years' experience in healthcare, field sales support, or related fields OR
    • Associate degree and 4+ years' experience in healthcare, field sales support, or related fields OR
    • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience in healthcare, field sales support, or related fields

    NICE TO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Proficiency in medical terminology, procedures, and the medical device industry
    • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Experience in project management and program coordination
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
    • Strong work ethic and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Ability to work in Cath Labs and attain vendor credentialing
