ABOUT US:

Hey there, we've got an exciting opportunity at one of Chicago's oldest bars - Backstory Tavern.

We first opened our doors way back in 1934 and after a major renovation, we're gearing up to reopen in March 2024.

We're looking for a top-notch Bar Manager to help lead us into the next chapter. You'll be overseeing all bar operations and services while working closely with your kitchen and bartender team.

Part of the fun will be putting together a creative drink menu that keeps our customers coming back for more.

Managing inventory, supporting special events, and ensuring safety compliance are also key responsibilities. It's important that you can juggle it all while maintaining a professional environment. We have a diverse crew here, so you'll need to be comfortable working with all types of personalities.
