We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative
Publishing Specialist to join our client's team in Los Angeles


As a Publishing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in updating, formatting, and designing various materials for print, PDF, and presentations using the Seismic platform and Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, with experience in a highly regulated industry being a plus.

Must work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.


Responsibilities:


  • Update data, formatting, layout, design, and content for print, PDF, and presentation materials based on established templates in PowerPoint using the Seismic platform.
  • Create and update charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits for communications materials, websites, and presentations.
  • Prepare presentation and notes files for meetings and webcasts.
  • Customize materials based on client needs while adhering to brand, style, and data presentation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members across business units and demonstrate the ability to work independently and proactively contribute to department goals.

Qualifications:


  • Experience level: Entry Level
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
  • 13 years of experience working in a creative corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (charting skills critical).
  • Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and ability to manage an unpredictable workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to problemsolve, manage ambiguity, and spot trends and variances in data.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry preferred, with experience in a highly regulated industry (pharma, legal) a plus.
