    Location:
    Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

    Background

    KBR Consulting International specializes in the Front-end Loading (FEL) phases of engineering projects, including pre-feasibility and preliminary Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED) phases.

    We handle small FEEDs and offer specialist consultancy services across various project phases.

    Our work involves developments in new engineering areas and technologies, with a client base ranging from large international companies to smaller independents.


    We are actively engaged in global initiatives such as transitioning from oil and gas to alternative energy sources like hydrogen and ammonia, decarbonization, biofuel production, and optimizing offshore production facilities.

    Our services include strategy development, financial modeling, asset performance optimization, and petrochemical integration.

    Responsibilities:
    Provide technical guidance during Feasibility and Conceptual studies.

    Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project documents.

    Interface with clients and discuss technical issues.

    Mentor junior engineers and lead project teams.

    Support business development through technical input into proposals.


    Requirements/Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or similar field.

    Minimum 7 years of process engineering experience in sectors like Upstream Oil and Gas, Oil Refining, Petrochemicals, or Renewables.

    Experience in Technical Safety or Environmental Engineering is advantageous.

    Preferably experienced in a front-end Process Design environment.

    Saudi nationals/Iqama holders and bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) preferred.

    Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Membership of a professional institution (IChemE, AIChE, or similar) and Chartered Engineer status preferred.
