    Bilingual Mental Health Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC)
    Division/Program:
    Star View Community Services
    Starting Compensation:
    $69,970.00 USD Per Year
    Working Location:
    Carson, CA
    Working Hours/Shift:
    Monday-Friday; Flexible Schedule

    What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

    • Fluency in Spanish - Required
    • Master's degree in a mental health field with BBS Registered intern number
    • BBS registration in MFTI, ACSW, LMFT or LCSW & Valid California Driver's License
    • Minimum of two years' experience in a mental health field working with relevant age groups in residential or outpatient settings

    How you will make a difference (job overview):


    This role involves providing essential mental health and case management services to individuals of varying age groups alongside their families. The Mental Health Specialist is responsible for delivering mental health services, conducting assessments and evaluations as needed, and offering therapeutic interventions such as individual, family, and collateral therapy. In addition, they serve as a vital link with external organizations, collaborate with clinical teams, and manage documentation and billing processes. There may also be opportunities to pursue additional certifications based on requirements.


    Division/Program Overview:

    • Engagement in Community Based programs
    • Delivering specialized services for children, adolescents, and transitional age youth (TAY) in need of mental health support
    • Multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, mental health therapists/clinicians, parent partners, and counselors
    • Offering case management, mental health care, and diverse support interventions within school, home, or community environments
    • Building strong partnerships with families, school authorities, social service agencies, and other relevant stakeholders
    • Implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to facilitate positive transformations in clients' lives
