    Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning the daytoday warehouse activities to ensure the quality and ontime delivery of customer orders, inventory control, and execution of warehouse system initiatives.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee and manage warehouse operations while maintaining strong leadership presence and visibility in all shifts at all warehouse sites to effectively lead and inspire the whole team to meet business objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with team members to ensure good teamwork and execution.
  • Allocate and schedule warehouse shifts as needed.
  • Communicate and work closely with logistics function to ensure orders are ready by scheduled pickup time.
  • Coordinate with function heads on warehouse operations and activities to ensure proper compliance and handling.
  • Responsible for establishing operational procedures for warehouse such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, keeping warehouse inventory accurate, ensuring warehouse is clean and orderly.
  • Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment to ensure compliance of industry safety standards and food grade standards.
  • Provide and implement proper safety and GMP trainings to warehouse staff.
  • Schedule and follow up preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment, forklifts, trucks, batteries, loading docks, rolling doors, ventilation fans, racking system, negative air pressure air filters, etc.
  • Prepare work orders and requisitions for repairs and equipment replacements.
  • Direct and dispose of salvage and expired or damaged materials.
  • Maintain a smooth operation of SAP, WM System and update material master data systems.
  • Conduct timely annual performance reviews (PMDP) with all subordinates.
  • Work with Director, Warehouse & Logistics in preparing annual warehouse budget and periodic monitoring.
  • Responsible for activities that ensure food safety, authenticity, integrity, and quality.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • This position manages all employees of the Warehouses and must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
  • 7+ years of handson, solid warehouse management experience including 3+ years in a managerial role in a fastpaced food manufacturing environment.
  • A thorough understanding of work ethics and diverse cultures in an international business environment is essential.
  • This position requires overseeing multiple sites and being on the floor frequently.
  • Lean Manufacturing/CPIM/Six-Sigma Certification is preferred. Experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing and operational excellence is highly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Indepth, direct experience with the implementation and use of commercially available ERP systems is required. SAP experience is preferred.
  • Able to work independently in crossfunctional teams and develop relationships with critical partners to achieve established goals
