- Strives for autonomy and exercises strong critical thinking in delivering patient care in a cost-effective manner while upholding quality
- Collaborates with other professionals to develop the patient's Care Plan and implements treatment approaches based on established nursing theories that enhance the patient's overall well-being
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
- Valid RN license in the state of practice and at least one year of clinical experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- In VA: Prior experience with terminally ill patients is necessary

The Registered Nurse Case Manager takes on the complete nursing responsibility for implementing the Care Plan for each hospice patient. They continuously assess their own professional performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and the quality of care provided.
