Pennswood Village, a nationally respected senior care community located in beautiful Bucks County, PA is seeking a Part-time Recreational Assistant.

Evening Shift:
Anytime after 5pm

JOB SUMMARY

Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activities that meet the individual needs, capabilities, and preferences of residents.
Assures the continuity of programming in the absence of the Activities Manager.
Assists in coordinating the activity program with all other departments and integrating the activities with the total community.
Completes the following: assists/conducts activities, transports residents requiring assistance, activity room preparation, assures a safe physical environment in the activity room, conducts room visits, provides direction and support to resident volunteers, and participates in intergenerational activities.
Maintains and ensures the personal rights of all residents through knowledge of and advocacy of the Residents Bill of Rights.
Assists with requisition and purchase of supplies, equipment, and materials and maintains inventory control.
Performs other duties as assigned
