Job Overview:

As an Estimator at On Services/Schroeder Services, you are a key member of our sales force, directly contributing to the acquisition and execution of projects across our service spectrum.

Your role involves cultivating and maintaining valuable relationships with contractors, property managers, city officials, building maintenance professionals, insurance adjusters, and other crucial referral sources.

You will produce detailed and profitable estimates, manage client accounts, and ensure high-quality project deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management: Develop and sustain relationships with various stakeholders to generate and maintain work volumes.

Inspections: Conduct site inspections within 48 hours of receiving job notifications, ensure adequate documentation and request necessary plans.

Estimating: Use both our software and manual calculations to create accurate, detailed estimates with clear cost breakdowns and targeted profit margins.

Pricing and Profit Margins: Maintain a specific profit margin on service work and on project work, adhering to company guidelines.

Estimate Submission and Follow-up: Ensure estimates over $5,000 are peer-reviewed, submit estimates to the paying party only, and conduct regular follow-ups until approval is secured.

Payment Terms and Scheduling: Handle invoicing and payment terms in accordance with the job type and client-specific agreements.

Documentation: Gather and submit necessary documentation for insurance claims and project coordination.

Service Titan Software: Update and maintain accurate job statuses from initial contact to job completion.

Client and Customer Relations: Proactively seek new business opportunities, keep stakeholders informed about progress, and uphold excellent service standards.

Marketing and Accounts Development: Actively promote our services and maintain a consistent referral base by engaging with current and potential clients.

Professional Conduct: Adhere to designated dress codes and maintain professional etiquette in the office.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in estimating and project management within the construction, plumbing, or related industries.
• Strong networking and relationship management skills.
• High proficiency in financial analysis and cost management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Service Titan or similar project management software is preferred.
• Understanding of local building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Work Environment:

• This role requires frequent travel to job sites within the Phoenix Valley area.
• Office hours may vary based on project needs and client schedules.

Pay:
$70, $90,000.00 per year
