Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and recovery of our patients.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals
• Provide direct care and support to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities
• Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify individualized care plans
• Monitor patients for any changes in behavior or symptoms and report observations to the appropriate staff members
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable
• Knowledge of gender issues counseling, art therapy, and psychopharmacology is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic nature

Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay:
$ $32.97 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
