    Description

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.

    Responsibilities

    · Detailed case management

    · Review investigative file

    · Record client and case information

    · Prepare correspondence for attorney

    · Communicate with and report to insurance companies

    · Prepare detailed information regarding nonparty providers

    · Research/investigate information regarding opposing party

    · Assist with the drafting and reviewing of pleadings

    · E-file and serve pleadings

    · Summarize written discovery responses

    · Consistent follow up throughout discovery period

    · Scheduling expert depositions and court ordered events

    · Prepare attorney for deposition, mediation and trial

    Qualifications

    · Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field (3 years preferred)

    · Insurance Defense or Personal Injury experience (1 year preferred)

    · Function and thrive in fast-paced, high volume environment

    · Ability to prioritize and multitask

    · Highly deadline and detail-oriented

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Ability to positively navigate a growing and changing environment
