Description

Location: Pittsburgh, PA/ Phoenix, AZ/Cleveland, OH/ Cincinnati, OH/ Dallas, TX/ Birmingham, AL/ Chicago, IL/ Kansas, KS/ Arkansas, AK/ Philadelphia, PA/ Jacksonville, FL

Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension.

Contract Type: W2 Contract

Key responsibilities:

Interaction and user experience design
Mockups and wireframes using Sketch, Figma, and InVision
Working with crew, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
Involved in standups with design and development teams.
Designer to leverage UI and sales skillset to build UX solutions that enable relationship deepening and cross-sell opportunities.

Describe the required must have technical skills, tools, or experience:

Experience in User Experience Design. Can be called one of these depending on the company: (UX/UI Design,
Interaction Design, Product Design, OR Experience Design)
Figma, Sketch, InVision, Confluence, and Jira , Visual Design, and UI.

Do you have experience working in the following areas of design: accessibility (WCAG 3.0 AA standard), responsive web design, both mobile and web design, working with a set design system

Summary:

The main function of the User Experience Designer is to work with project teams to design and deliver high quality client-centered, effective, consistent and usable interfaces.

Job Responsibilities:

Works closely with business analysts, business sponsors, project managers and IT teams to obtain and understand business requirements.
Creates the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, industry best practices, taking into account strategic business objectives, user needs, systems constraints.
Participates in design review sessions with project teams, acquiring consensus and getting approvals on designs and documentation.
Executes business acceptance test cases and testing.
Works with the project managers to ensure that usability deliverables accommodate project timelines, budgets, technical and scope constraints.
Contributes to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of efficient and effective usability methodology/process, documentation, workflow, ROI, metrics and design standards.
Acts as a user experience advocate regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human factors/usability or related discipline or equivalent work experience required
3-6 years related experience.
