Our instructors work part time and the start off pay is $16/hour. We are very flexible and accommodate to instructor's school schedules.
We have a personal growth program called Grown with Tutor Zone.
This program aims to empower our instructors by providing leadership roles, LEAD Instructors, and providing our team with mentorship that will not only guide them during their academic mentorship role but also catapult their professional career.
We also have opportunities to join certain teams such as our Marketing and Curriculum Team, which includes Video Editing, Blogging, and more- _____________________________________________
Duties:
- Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills development.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians through verbal communication, when applicable, as well as progress reports.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
- When needed, collaborate with teachers and parents to support student academic success.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a higher education
- Middle school level of math knowledge or higher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners.
