- Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to identify the potential for failed components and boards.
- Troubleshooting general electrical controls, relays, starters, and contactors as needed to keep equipment operational.
- Rewriting/editing programming of machinery controls to improve quality and reduce waste.
- Specifying components and parts needed for upgrades and repairs, working with vendors to supply parts, and tracking delivery times.
- Troubleshooting critical equipment problems as they arise.
- Continuous communication with the appropriate departments concerning project timing, repairs, and downtime needs.
- Electrical Engineering degree
- 2+ years experience in manufacturing environment
- Basic writing skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Availability for work on off-shifts and/or weekends. Occasional out-of-state travel.
- Experienced with PLC programming or basic troubleshooting
- Candidate must possess the lawful right to work in the U.S.
- Knowledge or expertise in power systems is a plus
