Job summary
The Energy Account Executive position is involved in casualty underwriting and processing of new business,renewals and endorsements for acceptability in accordance with company guidelines and standards by utilizing sound underwriting and rating techniques.Candidate must be able to establish and maintain relationships with brokers and agents.Accountable for the profitable management of a casualty book of business,inlcuding the underwriting of newand renewal accounts consistent with business unit appetiteand underwriting guidelines.
Responsible for establishingand maintaining relationshipswith brokersandagents,andwill beresponsiblefor managingagency profitability.Marketing responsibilities for their assigned territories,inlcuding strategic growth initiatives.Possess strong understandingof policy languageand coverage interpretation contractual risk transferanalysis loss analysisunderwritting compliance.Extensive collaboration across the organization withrisk services claim actuarial finance/accounting IT required.This position will be required to travel as neededto maintain strong relationshipswithagentscustomers.

Qualifications
A minimumof3yearsasa casuality linesunderwriter preferably within energy industryupstream oil gas space.Advanced analytical skills to interpretbusiness information from multiple sources tomakes critical account decision regarding quality or risk.Strong decision-making skillsto execute on therating intent developaprofitable bookbusiness.Must possess effective interpersonal skilssolid ability build manage relationshipswith agentsbrokers customers other employees.In-depth knowledges insurance coverage products rating pricing technique including guaranteed costandsensitive.Excellent negotiation marketing skillsexcellents communication skillexcellents organizational skillssolid computer skills experience Microsoft Office product.Applicant will have prior field marketing experience agent broker customer meeting.Travel20%.
