    Description
    GNR has been retained to identify an ambitious & experienced

    LINUX SYSTEMS ADMIN / INTEGRATION ENGINEER

    for a very well-established, highly profitable

    advanced high-performance computing

    organization delivering multi-million-dollar solutions.

    This is a "

    highly visible

    " role with great career growth potential Reporting directly to the CTO,

    you will be the LINUX expert


    that can "get under the hood & dive deep", writing scripts for everything from low level hardware burn-in to high level software integration.

    You will

    interact with the Technical Engineering team

    to help resolve advanced post-delivery issue build, test, and create the clusters on which engineers design systems.
    Installing Linux distributions and debugging complex problems
    Stress and burn-in testing, then executing cluster level testing and filesystem testing

    Experience required:

    2+ years Linux System Admin experience or 2+ years integrating LINUX systems or designing solutions
    Extensive knowledge of Linux distributions and comfort operating in them— CentOS/RHEL and Ubuntu proficiency
    LINUX, PHP, Python and C/C++
    Understanding of Git, Github, or other version control system
