Summary:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


  • Reception:_
  • Answers incoming telephone calls with pleasant demeanor, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
  • Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
  • Maintains friendly and welcoming demeanor while greeting onsite visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Directs or escorts visitors to their destination.
  • Monitors visitor access from door.
  • Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
  • Responsible for postmarking all outgoing office USPS/FedEx mailings and packages.
  • Sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes; creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as necessary.
  • Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
  • Practices a "clean desk policy" daily.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of conference rooms.
  • Assists with special projects, events and meetings as requested.
  • Keeps inventory of office supplies.
  • Administrative Assistant:_
  • Orders office supplies.
  • Alphabetizes/staples/files miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Assists with scheduling and coordinating building maintenance.
  • Assembles, coordinates and mails various marketing collateral materials, such as postcards, specials and other products as developed.
  • Assists with special projects as requested.

Requirements:


  • Works with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Word and Excel a must
  • Must speak English at a professional level.
  • Prior related office experience.
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
