    We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, detail-oriented person to join our team of talented individuals as a Residential Assistant Property Manager.

    The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and an energetic personality.

    This person will serve as the first point of contact for our property management office and must demonstrate a professional image to our prospects, clients, customers, and vendors at all times.

    The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, property management and leasing.

    Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as great customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.

    This person is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    • Tenant Relations:
    ○ Serve as a primary point of contact for residents by answering all incoming calls on a multi-phone line system
    ○ Conduct regular communication with residents to foster positive relationships and ensure satisfaction with living
    experience.


    • Leasing and Rent Collection:
    ○ Assist with leasing activities including scheduling showings, processing rental applications and lease agreements.
    ○ Manage rent collection process, including following up on delinquent accounts and implementing appropriate
    actions in accordance with company policies.
    ○ Track all collections on past accounts and set up payment plans or turn over to collections as needed
    ○ Conduct bi-annual market surveys to ensure we are staying up to date with industry trends
    ○ Update all price increases and/or reductions on the website


    • Maintenance and Repairs:
    ○ Track all make ready dates and ensure they are being met


    • Administrative Tasks:
    ○ Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining accurate resident records, preparing leasing documents
    ○ Assist Property Manager by sending late letters and renewal notices
    ○ Maintain filing systems
    ○ Support the Property Manager in budgeting, financial reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
    ○ Order all supplies needed such as move-in boxes, office supplies, and company branded items.
    ○ Manage and maintain all HOA accounts including attending meetings, updating the Owner Portal, etc.
    ○ Obtain all insurance policies and track their expiration dates as needed
    Upload all pertinent information into Property Management Software
    ○ Track all expiring COIs and retrieve all updated policies
    ○ Data Entry
    ○ Assist the Director with miscellaneous tasks as needed

    Education and Training
    High school diploma or GED

    Knowledge and Experience
    1+ years experience working in property management or leasing required

    • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws

    Sedentary Work:

    Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

    Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
