Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and Passionate assistant to join our team.

As an Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational aspect, helping an individual with a psychiatric or neurological disability by preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors.

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is an animal that provides a therapeutic benefit (e.g., emotional support, comfort, companionship) to a person with a mental health or psychiatric disability (such as a serious mental health condition).

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in special education, early childhood education, or curriculum development. Dog training experience not a must

Duties:

• Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and curriculum for the ESA(DOG)
• Support the ESA in all public service events
• Provide oneonone or small group instruction to students/clients as needed
• Assist with grooming the ESA
• Collaborate with clients and staff to ensure a positive environment
• Help maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate regularly with parent regarding ESA/Client concerns
• Collect electronic payments and records for owner

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Associates Degree
• MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION

Duties

• Experience working with

children/animals in an educational/ home setting

• Daily Walks, Feedings and teachings
• Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and owner
• Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
• Passion for working with children/animals and helping them reach their full potential

Please note that this is a paid position. We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
