Responsibilities:
Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities.
The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department.

Essential Job Duties:
Reporting directly to the Associate Administrator, this Exempt level position is a key role for the hospital. Responsible for directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Environmental Services Department. Maintains the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Supervises and coordinates the work activities of the Environmental Services Manager and 30+staff. Responsible for department's financial data, statistics and productivity. Actively participates in collaborative management with Nursing and other key Department leaders.
Establishes and implements policies and procedures for the department along with staff competencies and processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Responsible for establishing and managing work flow to ensure turnaround times are achieved.Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years' experience in management position in a hospital or similar institution.
- Proven managerial skills.
- Ensures accurate departmental records maintenance.
- Knowledge of building maintenance.
- Bachelor Degree required.
- Special courses in housekeeping or institutional management preferred.
- CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
