Job Description "Strong Kids - Strong Neighborhood"

20-25 hours/week

We are currently looking for:

Educators, social workers (m/f/d), or individuals with at least 3 years of professional experience working with adolescents and/or young adults to lead the project "Strong Kids - Strong Neighborhood" in Märkisches Viertel.
Albatros e.
V. is involved in various activities, including children and youth work. Since September 2023, a project in cooperation with Albatros e.
V. and CVJM Berlin has been running to prevent youth violence.

The main target group are hard-to-reach adolescents aged They should receive interesting offers one evening (4-10pm) during the week and one Saturday or Sunday per week, which they are happy to participate in.

Excursions have played a major role so far (football stadium, ice skating, cinema, bike tours...), as well as cooking together.

The new employee can of course further develop these offers with the participants and possibly set special priorities.

Once or twice a month on weekends, an event for the entire neighborhood will be held at the CVJM Baracke.

If successful, adolescents aged 13-18 should also be able to contribute to the implementation of these neighborhood gatherings - for example as a cook, DJ, referee, or makeup artist.
