General Statement of Duties
The employee in this classification provides instruction to students in Henrico County Public Schools.
This position is for the school year.

Essential Duties

• Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher
• Ensures classroom management
• Serves appropriate duty assignments
• Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher
• Performs other duties as assigned by the school

Minimum Qualifications

Permanent Substitute Teacher:

• Have minimum of 60 credit hours or 2 years working with children.

Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training Recognition and Intervention training**
Additional Information

Daily Sub Rates:

$167.04*HIRING WILL BE HANDLED BY THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL.
