Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide oneonone or small group (up to 6 students) tutoring sessions to students of various ages and educational backgrounds. Most students are adults.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and techniques provided by the Employer to facilitate learning and understanding.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
Experience:
- Experience working with students in a classroom or tutoring setting (1 year or more)
- Knowledge of adult education principles for tutoring adult learners.
- Experience in providing language education to adult learners is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
(Portuguese fluency is a plus, but not required): - Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and track student progress
