    CLIENT HIGHLIGHT
    Our client is a prominent offshore entity specializing in oil and gas exploration and production. Their operations span several key offshore regions where they manage complex projects including deep-water drilling and production platforms.

    LOCATION
    Goleta, CA

    COMPENSATION
    $175,000 - $250,000

    Position Overview:


    The primary role is to provide leadership in facilities management and operations, supporting both offshore production platforms and onshore facilities handling oil, gas, and water.

    Responsibilities include guiding the overall design of facilities, forecasting, cost estimation, scheduling, requisitioning materials, and developing project execution plans. Additionally, contribute to the formulation of capital and major expense budgets.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Offer technical support for day-to-day challenges in facility operations.
    Guide consulting engineers to ensure engineering, studies, design, and compliance with environmental and safety standards are met.
    Develop budgets for facility capital and major expenses.
    Initiate studies to optimize material and equipment use, aiming to minimize facility downtime.
    Lead root cause analyses, providing technical and mechanical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
    Maintain and manage updates to facility drawings.
    Ensure compliance with necessary requirements for facilities regarding testing, surveys, and project modifications.
    Oversee the contracting of equipment and labor for facility construction and surveys.
    Specify materials needed for operations and facility projects.
    Prepare and oversee AFE packages, maintaining control throughout the construction projects of facilities.
    Compile and submit detailed packages for regulatory approval.
    Travel to offshore and land locations as necessary, including overnight stays.

    Position Specifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    At least 10 years of experience in facility design and engineering within the industry.
    Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, and PowerPoint.
    Ability to interpret schematics (P&IDs, Wiring Diagrams, SAFECharts).
    Familiarity with offshore platforms and pipelines.
