Position Summary - To provide administrative support to the Environmental Health & Safety Office (EH&S). The principal duties include providing support of departmental purchasing and budget management; support of training development and management in the University's learning management system; support of the development and management of the EH&S operating platform; support of website management; developing computergenerated reports, charts, program materials, and spreadsheets; responding to or redirecting routine service requests received from members of the university community; and other administrative duties as assigned by the Business Affairs Director of Special Projects and the Director of the EH&S Office.

Required Qualifications - High School graduate or equivalent
- Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures, including customer service techniques.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), including maintaining calendars and schedules, and preparation of computergenerated reports, charts, and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with all segments of the university community and to understand the sensitive nature of the position and the confidential nature of intraoffice discussions and documents.
- Ability to manage transactions for the procurement of goods and services through the University's procurement system and small purchase credit card.
- Experience or ability to learn to utilize BuyWM (Jaggaer software) for procurement, Cornerstone learning management system, and CampusOptics EH&S software operating platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Higher Education environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
- Experience successfully maintaining group calendars, web pages, and distribution lists.
- Knowledge of William & Mary's mission, vision, business, and administrative practices including experience with W&M systems such as Banner, Qlik, America to Go, and Chrome River.
